About John's Kitchen
John's Kitchen was started in January 2009 at a private kitchen in Richmond BC. Taking place on every Sunday of every week therein after.
Just about every week a theme would be thought up for the next Sunday. Giving the attendees six days to prepare recipes and ingredients to cook and present.
Probably the most interesting and exciting part to John's Kitchen is that of a Black Box competition being held at the end of the night after everyone's presentations.
One member would be in charge of collecting an ingredient that the cooks are completely unaware of. The cooks would first choose whether they are to make an Appetizer, Entree, or Dessert item. Once settled the secret ingredient would be revealed resulting in some very interesting dishes!
